I love solving challenges and working with physicians. And I have plenty of challenges to solve. When faced with a challenge, my motto is, Sometimes I may hit a home run or sometimes I may strike out, but I just need to try something and see what happens.
What path did you follow to get here?
On April 1st, 2003, my former company senior manager told me that they were exiting the MSO business. Being April 1st, I thought it was an April Fool’s joke. It wasn’t and so I started the process of finding a new home for the physicians with whom I had developed a strong working relationship. During the next few months I met with several MSOs and we decided on SynerMed. I have been with SynerMed since November 1st, 2003.
We selected SynerMed for three reasons:

- Niche Markets - SynerMed understands the role of niche markets within healthcare and how opportunities overlooked by dominate players can be capitalized by smaller, independent groups.
- Innovative Management - SynerMed presents simple, innovative management strategies that improve inefficiencies, growth and profitability.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job is that no two days are alike. I could not work in an environment that was predictable or stagnant.
What does downtime look like for you?
I don’t have much downtime but when I do, I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and family.
