To protect the confidentiality of personal health information (PHI), in accordance with the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), as amended, SynerMed uses ZixCorp encryption services. To use those services to securely exchange email with SynerMed, you need not be a ZixCorp customer.

To send secure, encrypted email to someone at SynerMed, click on Exchange Encrypted Email With Synermed Employees below to go to SynerMed's secure ZixCorp portal. There you will find directions for first-time user account set-up, and login for returning users. The email address the portal requests is the one you will use in communicating securely with SynerMed.

In the future, when a SynerMed employee sends you encrypted email, you will receive a system-generated email with a link to the secure portal.
